Following the announcement that incumbent Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has changed his Deputy Crowther Seth for a female Deputy ahead of 2023 general election, Gubernatorial hopeful Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has penned down a female Deputy Senator Grace Jackson Bent.

Optimistic about winning his court case against the current Gubernatorial aspirant of the APC in the State Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, Mallam decided to neutralize the current Governor’s decision to pick a female candidate from the same Southern Zone.

It might be recalled that the former EFCC Boss Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has instituted a court case agaisnt Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, praying the court to disqualify her and make his the aspirant due to irregularities which mar the APC Gubernatorial primaries.

His selection of Senator Grace Jackson Bent is not unconnected to the relationship between the former Senator and the APC Presidential Aspirant Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, being of the Yoruba lineage.

Him being a long term loyalist to the APC Presidential Aspirant Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, rumours has it that the leader of the APC wants to repay his boy with the Adamawa ticket.

Being from the central zone, it is only right for Mallam Ribadu to pick his Deputy from either Southern or Northen Adamawa and decided to go to Numan federation.
